Psalm 67: 1-7

1  May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us— [b]

2  so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.

3  May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you.

4  May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth.

5  May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you.

6  The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us.

7  May God bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, full of compassion. All the way You have blessed us. The dense morning fog cannot block the light of Your loving face from shinning on us. You desire everyone to be saved and You are not willing for any to perish. May the people all over the world come to know Your salvation, justice, and mercy through this COVID-19 pandemic. May they understand that God in His sovereignty controls all things including the world that is constantly changing around us.

Lord Jesus, thank you for the gifts of salvation, forgiveness of our sins, and cleansing of our unrighteousness. Lead us to go to the people of all nations and make them Your disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. You are the head of the body, the church, teach them to obey all the commands you have given us. Help us walk daily in the light of life with You.

Holy Spirit, give us patience to wait for the pandemic crisis to pass. Encourage us to become channels of blessing to the people of the world and vessels for special purpose useful to God. Let us strive to open the door of the gospel so that everyone will know that there is life after this life, the gift of eternal life, the final judgement at the end time, and the eternal kingdom of God. May all nations and peoples in Your blessing reappear to rejoice before the Lord, and sing praises at church for ever and ever.

We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
