Psalm 132:7-15

7  “Let us go to his dwelling place, let us worship at his footstool, saying,

8  ‘Arise, LORD, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might.

9  May your priests be clothed with your righteousness; may your faithful people sing for joy.’”

10  For the sake of your servant David, do not reject your anointed one.

11  The LORD swore an oath to David, a sure oath he will not revoke: “One of your own descendants I will place on your throne.

12  If your sons keep my covenant and the statutes I teach them, then their sons will sit on your throne for ever and ever.”

13  For the LORD has chosen Zion, he has desired it for his dwelling, saying,

14  “This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.

15  I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor I will satisfy with food.

Prayer

God, the faithful and unchanging Father, we are pleased to bow down to your footstool and pray. May your kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as you walked in heaven. We greet the ark of Your presence and enter the holy place of the soul. The lampstand of faith is still bright and shining in the midst of suffering. Because You will open your eyes and listen to your ears, the prayers we offer here. We are close to You, and You will be close to us.

Jesus, the root of David and the bright morning star. You are the road, truth and life. You are interceding for us on the right side of the Father. You also promise that after you have prepared a place for us, you will come again to take us to You. We will not allow our eyes to sleep and our eyes to take a nap. We will wait for Your return. You will ascend to the throne of David to rule over all nations and nations. With Zion as the base, the world will be blessed by You.

Holy Spirit! May you double the peace and joy to congratulate all those who work loyally, those who love their families faithfully, brothers and sisters who love the church faithfully, and the public servants who serve the community wholeheartedly. We pray for conservative and intensified efforts for the frontline staff who are never sleeping Their family guards. Guide us through a victory day.
