Psalm 12: 1-8

1  Help, LORD, for no one is faithful anymore; those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.

2  Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts.

3  May the LORD silence all flattering lips and every boastful tongue—

4  those who say, “By our tongues we will prevail; our own lips will defend us—who is lord over us?”

5  “Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the LORD. “I will protect them from those who malign them.”

6  And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible,

    like gold [c]  refined seven times.

7  You, LORD, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked,

8  who freely strut about when what is vile is honored by the human race.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you for Your never- ending love. Early in the morning while it was still dark, we knelt before You and prayed. May Your word light up our lamps of hearts. Let us first seek Your face, acknowledging You in our lives and pay attention to Your guidance. Holy Father, create clean hearts for us and renew steadfast spirits within us. We take refuge in You and we can do all things through You.

Jesus as God incarnate, may you take to Heavenly Father prayers of Christians from around the world asking for an end to the coronavirus pandemic. You have seen how wicked mortals communicate using perverted paradoxes, deceitful and chaotic thoughts, and flattering lips. They somehow turned this beautiful blessed world into filthy ruins. In this pandemic, there is not a single safe place in the world. Lord Jesus, thank you for reminding us not to focus our attentions on worldly things, or to listen to beautiful lies. Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what He requires of us, and He will provide us with all these other things. Let’s reset our priorities and then make plans to rebuild our society.

Holy Spirit, our helper and counselor, cleanse us from all defilement of flesh including our months, thoughts, and hearts. Take us through the turbid current, ascend the mountain of Jehovah and stand in the sanctuary of God. Renew and refresh our living bodies, Hearts, and souls. Let us take the spring of heaven with us when we return to reality of life to water the dry

and thirsty spirit of hearts. We will proclaim that God so loved the world and He wants everyone to be saved before the four horses of apocalypse appear. Lord, we see the signs showing that Jesus is returning soon.

We pray earnestly in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
