Psalm 1: 1-6

1  Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take

    or sit in the company of mockers,

2  but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.

3  That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

4  Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.

5  Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,  nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6  For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

Prayer

Praise to our Heavenly Father, Hallowed be Thy name. Thank you for the morning breeze awaken our hearts to continue fully trust You with our lives. As we are coping with the global crisis brought on by the virus this time, we know God is in control; He knows the end from the beginning.

Lord transform us into the persons you want us to be. Give us a discerning heart to know Your plan that we will live in a way that is pleasing to You.

Thank you, Jesus, for your sacrifice on the cross so we can have eternal life. Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. In Your name we will rejoice each day.

May the spirit of the Lord lead us in our hearts, give us strength to endure our present troubles which are light and won’t last very long, patiently wait for the passing of the epidemic and look forward for an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison.

In Jesus’s victorious name we pray. Amen
