THANKSGIVING :

1. “Tracheostomy Tube”
It was removed when the body was stable. This is the first time in three months that nothing (including a tube) is inserted into the mouth and neck. Also, the wound has healed. What a relief! Sleep quality has also improved slightly.

2. “Change in Food Texture”
In the past couple of days, instead of a purée diet, Moses has been eating minced meat, vegetables, and tender meals.

3. “Prayer Support”
Every person we encounter, whether we meet prior or not, express full of kind words, support and encouragement for Moses and our family: “Hang in there, take care of yourselves and MO”; “We pray according to the prayer letters and put our trust in God”; “We are not Christians, but we pray for Moses every day...”

 
PRAYER REQUESTS:

I) Moses’ Current Health Condition - Please pray for the following items:

1. “Swallowing Ability”
Symptoms of fever occurred a few days ago, possibly due to the food entering the airways through the vocal cords. Please continue to pray for this struggle, pray that the epiglottis will function properly and will be able to cover the windpipe completely when swallowing.

2. “Pulmonary function”
Please pray for the strengthening of Mose’s lung treatment to be effective, to allow him to cough and not be susceptible to pneumonia.

3. “Turning point and Concern of Tube Removal”
Removal of the tracheostomy tube is a positive step towards future treatment, but there is also a potential risk. Moses’ treatment will have to be “reverted” to the initial hospitalization stage if he fails to cough up phlegm due to pneumonia.

4. “Ward Transfer”
Transfer to another ward for further focused treatment may be required in the next week or two. Hope Moses will accustom himself to the new environment and the new medical team as soon as possible.

5. “Moses' Most Wanted Wish”
In the coming month or two, Moses wishes to apply for a temporary home leave for family reunion if his condition is stable.

II) Moses’ Parents
1. “Building a Life Project Together”
While Moses is working hard to work on his treatment and exercise his body, we also need to work on our physical fitness (we feel more relaxed without the belly).
By sharing daily biblical messages, video clips of “Voices of Mom and Dad”, and life moments, we pray Moses will be able to connect with our Abba Father God in heaven, as well as mum, dad and family on earth.

2. “Most Concerned Worry”
In the event we are not in the best of health, we will not be able to work with Moses on the Life Project.

III) The Government’s “Inter-departmental Working Group”
